Girls weekend baby!!!! This week, these beautiful ladies and I were supposed to be in the Dominican Republic on an earned Zyia incentive trip!!! For lots of various reasons, we decided to defer the trip to next year. So you better believe next years trip is gonna be epic!!!

While we were sad we weren’t going on a trip we earned and worked so hard for, we decided to make the best of it!!! Two of the ladies flew to the AZ desert 🥵from the east coast instead and we headed to the cabin for the weekend to cool them off. 🏔

As I sit and reflect, I am reminded what a blessing this little legging gig has been. 🌙 Not just the business aspect, but the friendships. Had I not been apart of Zyia, I would have never met these gorgeous souls!!! 💕

And let’s be real, there is nothing better than helping women feel comfortable and confident in their own skin (and for those who are looking for the ability to create a business that allows them the flexibility/freedom they want.)

Getting to work with a group of incredible women, all creating what works best for them in their lives, serving people, encouraging and uplifting each other… magical and truley a blessing. 🙏🏻

Sooooo… my girl @mary_hair_nandez has me petrifi

Sooooo… my girl @mary_hair_nandez has me petrified that when I find a scorpion, it for sure has babies on its back! Her recommendation was to take the biggest book I could find and drop it directly on the scorpion in hopes to kill the mother and any babies should there be any. Well, unfortunately, that’s what nightmares are made of for me! The idea of hundreds of baby scorpions scattering from their mothers back just may put me over the edge.

This morning getting the kids ready and off to school I walked past the pool bathroom to see this devil! He was thick and juicy and well taken care of. But there was definitely something wrong with it! Maybe it was dying and my pest control was doing its job? Maybe the dogs got to it and it was on it’s last leg? Or maybe it had babies on its back and it was protecting them. 😭🤯😱🫣🤢 Whatever the case may be, I couldn’t take the chance of hitting it and not getting all of its offspring!

So I came up with another solution! These things stick to sticky traps, right? So there should be no reason why some simple box tape wouldn’t work either, right? My thought process was that if I could get the box tape over the scorpion and be prepared, if babies scattered, I could press the box tape on top of each and everyone securing them in their place for the cleanup from @ben_dickman. Genius right?! 🤪🤣🤷🏼‍♀️🦂

Well, my plan worked, and there were no babies! However, I’m not quite sure if this method that took way too much time, was the best. But no one was stung, no offspring were launched, and this sucker is in the trash! So I call that winning! Follow me for more scorpion trapping tips! 🤣🤣🤣 If anyone wants a tequila lollipop with a special treat inside, I got you covered! 🍭🦂
